Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Ayushi:
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
My journey began in a traditional setup, but over time, I developed a deep interest in understanding people — especially through communication, mindset, and parenting. Motherhood was a turning point; it made me reflect on how we raise children and how we grow as individuals.
This led me to explore NLP and positive parenting, and I started applying those tools in my own life. The changes I saw inspired me to help others on the same path. I’m currently pursuing a diploma in child psychology to deepen my understanding and support families more meaningfully.
Today, I focus on creating content that empowers parents and promotes mindful, connected parenting.
How did you discover your passion?
I discovered my passion through my journey as a mother. Parenting made me curious about emotions, communication, and child behaviour, which led me to explore NLP.
What began as a way to understand my child turned into a deep passion for helping others through mindful parenting and meaningful conversations.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
The biggest sources of motivation in my daily life are my father and my husband. They’ve been my backbone in every phase of life. Whether it was a small milestone or a major decision, they always stood by me with confidence in my abilities.
On days when I felt low or uncertain, their words and belief in me reminded me of my strength and kept me moving forward. Their presence has made a lasting impact on how I approach challenges and chase my goals.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
One of the key strategies that has helped me grow as a person is embracing consistency and patience. I’ve realised that meaningful growth takes time, and it often comes from trying different approaches, learning from setbacks, and continuously improving. I also believe in reflecting on personal experiences before offering guidance to others — it’s important to lead by example.
Lastly, being a good listener has been crucial. Understanding diverse perspectives has not only broadened my thinking but also made me more empathetic and effective in both personal and professional relationships.
In your opinion, what are the keys to success?
In my opinion, the keys to success are a combination of clarity, consistency, and resilience. Clarity helps set a strong vision and purpose—knowing what you’re working toward. Consistency ensures that you’re showing up every day, even when motivation dips.
And resilience allows you to handle challenges, learn from failures, and keep moving forward. Along with that, staying open to feedback and having a growth mindset are equally important, because success isn’t a fixed destination—it’s about continuous improvement
What advice would you give to our readers?
My advice would be — trust your journey and be kind to yourself along the way. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, whether it’s in parenting, personal development, or your career. Stay curious, keep learning, and don’t be afraid to start small.
Most importantly, listen to yourself, to your children, and to those around you. That’s where real connection and growth begin. And remember, progress is always more powerful than perfection.
